To be fair, it's been over twenty years since I was a customer here but the attitude and high prices I endured seem like yesterday. The final straw was the day the owner yelled at me (they had opened a branch in Union, which failed, BTW. No surprise there) because I asked if they could do limited work on my Mazda brakes. Granted a legitimate point was to be made about doing a complete job ( I am an electrician and I have many conditions I must express to a customer at times) but the outburst by the owner was unforgettably rude and insulting. This attitude was always my impression at Eastern Tire and he cemented it that day.
Fritz, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review, albeit some 20 years after a obviously scarring experience. We welcome all feedback, and I have used your comments to explain to our current customer service team the power of the customer experience; memories are long. The ownership team 20 years ago was made up of a cantankerous old man and a young and progressive up and comer; I'm sorry you drew the short straw that day, although I remember very little yelling at customers. In our 75th year, we remain as committed to the customer experience and value proposition as we always have. If you find yourself back in Rockland, I would share a hand shake and a thank you .
