A Summer to Remember: Eastern Tire’s Employee-Owner BBQ
There’s something special about watching a backyard fill up with the people who make a company run — not just coworkers, but owners. That’s exactly what happened at this year’s Eastern Tire & Auto Service summer BBQ, where employee-owners from Rockland and Rockport came together for great food and friendly competition.
The smoker worked overtime — ribs, brisket, and grilled chicken didn’t stand a chance against a hungry crew. Cornhole boards branded with our “100% Employee Owned” logo got a workout, and an inflatable axe-throwing target drew a crowd testing their aim.
We also ran our first “Guess the Share Price” contest, inviting employee-owners to look at how our ESOP share value has grown since 2023 and predict where 2026 might land. It sparked great conversations and served as a fun reminder: when the company grows, our employee-owners grow with it.
